mountain café - scottish restaurant Aviemore
Mountain Café Restaurant Aviemore - Scottish restaurant was
taken over by Kirsten Gilmour in December 2004 who has many years
of experience in the outdoors, tourism & hospitality industries.
Kirsten has now extended her experiences to running the mountain
café, restaurant in Aviemore, with the aim right from the
start of firstly pleasing the locals and outdoor participants to
backpackers and tourists. When taking over the business Kirsten
decided that it was essential that the business was to have as little
impact on the environment as possible.

WE BELIEVE THAT:
• Good quality, local produce makes the best meals
• Food should be correctly priced so that it is available
to all not just to tourists

• Healthy doesn’t mean bland and boring
• Kids should be offered a varied & tasty menu, not
just burgers and chips
• That friendly service and a great atmosphere makes a meal
more enjoyable
• That there is an art to making a decent cup of coffee
